Objectives To develop knowledge of and skills in applying advanced
methods for design flood estimation for a wide variety of situations.
Synopsis Overview, design storms, probable maximum precipitation and
flood, catchment losses, flood routing, runoff routing, advanced flood
frequency, flood risk and reliability analysis, urban flood estimation.
Assessment Examinations (3 hours): 75% + Practical work: 25%
