Objectives To investigate the multidisciplinary nature of sustainable catchment management.
Synopsis Integrated water resource management, total catchment management, environmental impact assessment, environmental and social economics, flood plain planning and management, management of fluvial systems, hydrologic effects of land-use change, water resource systems analysis using simulation, linear and dynamic programming.
Assessment Examinations (2 hours): 60% + Practical work: 40%
