Advanced civil engineering computing applications

6 points + 13 lectures, 39 laboratory classes + Second semester + Clayton + Prerequisites: CIV2250 or equivalent

Objectives The subject allows students to acquire skills in an application area such as programming languages (Pascal, C++, Visual Basic), spreadsheets, hypertext, databases, mathematics packages, graphics, expert systems, computer-aided drafting, etc. Learning is based around a development exercise.

Synopsis Specific content will be recommended for each student. The subject is project based, with a single project requiring about 100 hours for completion.
