Objectives The student is expected to gain a knowledge of the process
and requirements of road planning and design, including environmental and
safety effects.
Synopsis Road design parameters, geometric design of roads, road safety,
road planning, traffic system components.
Assessment Examinations: 50% + Practical work: 20% + Design: 30%
