Objectives Upon successful completion of this subject, students should have reached a measurably higher standard of competence in the German language in terms of improved vocabulary and in the macro-skills; gained more knowledge about contemporary Germany; read selected German language materials by German authors and gained information about the authors concerned.
Synopsis Language and culture study using designated text, plus additional written and visual materials. Communicative competence approach, plus regular conversation times.
