Language studies - German 3

4 points + 3 hours per week + First semester + Peninsula + Prerequisites: EDN1555 and EDN1565

Objectives Upon successful completion of this subject, students should have reached a more advanced standard of communication competence in the German language, including enhanced vocabulary, syntactic structures and idiomatic usages; begun the reading of German language materials by selected authors; continued with studies of German contemporary culture and events.

Synopsis Language and culture study at a more advanced level, together with use of additional written and audiovisual materials. Extensive use of German language in the classroom. Beginning reading of German language writing by selected authors (poetry, short stories). This subject is offered in conjunction with GRN2270.

Assessment Class tests: 100%
