Objectives Upon successful completion of this subject, students should be able to demonstrate continued development in their design, drawing and computer skills. Students who selected printmaking should have investigated block printing and silkscreen methods such as Riso, hydrograph and polychromatic techniques on paper, fabric or collage. Sculpture students should investigate freestanding and relief constructions, kinetics, treatment of the sculptural surface and installation practices. Students should have further developed an understanding of relevant terminology and become familiar with a wide range of literature and theory. Students should have further investigated and experimented with current trends in their chosen media and should have independently investigated a personal theme, leading to one or two finished works.

The following materials and processes will be investigated: freestanding and relief constructions, kinetics, treatment of the sculptural surface, such as painting, staining, glazing; screenprinting and collage on paper, with continued exploration of materials and concepts from the previous subjects.
