Objectives Upon successfully completing this subject, students should have gained an elementary standard of communicative competence in the German language (including basic syntactical structures, good pronunciation and knowledge of vocabulary as determined by the lecturer); factual knowledge about the geography and political structure of the united Germany.
Synopsis Continuation of language and culture study as with EDN1555, using additional materials and encouraging use of German in the classroom. This subject is offered in conjunction with GRN1040.
