Brains, minds, and computers: Current topics in cognitive science

Objectives At the completion of this subject students should know about a particular area of great contemporary importance in cognitive science and computing; understand current research directions in that area where cognitive science and computing overlap; be able to read and evaluate critically widely differing perspectives on common phenomena; and appreciate how to critically evaluate current trends in computing from a more sophisticated perspective.

Synopsis This syllabus will vary from time to time, according to developments in cognitive science.
