Object-oriented programming

Objectives At the completion of this subject students should understand
how to apply object-oriented principles to commercial projects; understand the
strengths and limitations of the object-oriented paradigm; and be able to use
the Smalltalk object-oriented system.
Synopsis Object-oriented programming systems, objects, classes,
inheritance, message passing, polymorphism, abstract classes, class libraries,
object-oriented design. Frameworks and patterns, object-oriented languages, eg
Smalltalk, Actor, Eiffel, C++.
