Synopsis This subject is focused on archival and recordkeeping needs and services in the community at large, including recordkeeping in community organisations, archives in a multicultural society, the archives of women's and minority groups, oral history and documentation programs. It includes some comparative overseas case studies; community involvement programs of government, corporate and collecting archival institutions in Australia; and the role of public libraries and museums.
