Objectives On completion of this subject students should understand the lifecycle models used for user interface development; understand and be able to apply a range of behavioural and constructional modelling techniques; and be able to implement a graphical user interface using a toolkit.

Synopsis On completion of this unit, students will have an understanding of the issues involved in user interface design, be aware of the tools available for user interface development, and be able to design and implement a user interface to a given specification.

Assessment Examination (2 hours): 50% + Other assessment modes: 50%
