Synopsis This subject deals with the study of operations management in manufacturing and service organisations. Topics include financial calculations, an introduction to computer software systems in a management context, production planning and control, materials requirements planning, project management, Just-in-Time systems, and the ISO9000 standards. The subject will also look at different types of organisations and their business strategies.

Assessment Written: 50% + Examination (2 hours): 50%
