Dynamic systems modelling

6 points + One 3-hour class per week + Second semester + Caulfield + Prerequisite: MGM7500

Objectives On completion of this subject students will be able to apply system dynamics software tools to construct models and user-friendly interfaces; and demonstrate competence in using models as tools for learning and policy development.

Synopsis Models and the scientific method; modelling complex systems; systems dynamics methodology and modelling; using system dynamics models; the design and operation of `learning laboratories'.

Assessment Individual modelling assignment: 40% + Team modelling assignment: 30% + Examination (2 hours): 30%
