Objectives On completion of this subject students should be able to appreciate overseas countries' economic and cultural situations prior to departure; to show a development of thinking in different types of organisations; to identify and report on the `world best practice' management technologies and practices of international companies.
Synopsis Nationals of the countries to be visited will brief students on their country's economic situation, industry and cultural practices, as well as provide the student with travel hints. An introductory lecture will be provided by the subject leader.
Assessment Pre-tour classwork: 50% + Proposal for tour report: 50%
