6 points + One 3-hour class per week + Caulfield + Prerequisite: Students should be in their final year

Objectives On completion of this subject students should develop an in-depth knowledge of one issue currently affecting business administration functions; demonstrate an ability to analyse and interpret information gathered in a research paper; demonstrate an ability to communicate findings in a research paper; have an understanding of research methodology.

Synopsis This is a research unit relating to current issues in administrative management, which includes designing a research proposal, writing a literature survey, designing interviews and questionnaires and producing an analytical and interpretive report.

Assessment Written assignments: 40% + Thesis (6000 words): 60%
