Objectives On completion of this subject students should have a thorough understanding of the different theoretical bases of planned change as well as the range of methodologies available to planned change as a social technology.
Synopsis This subject deals with both the theoretical and methodological foundations of the planned change process. The subject examines how planned change is initiated, how and why initiatives are resisted, and how the change process can be facilitated through the intervention of a change agent.
