6 points + 3 hours per week + First, second semester + Caulfield Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong, in-house (not offered in all locations in all semesters) + Prerequisite: Completion of an acceptable undergraduate degree

Objectives On completion of this subject students should be able to conduct research in an accounting-related area; have gained comprehensive and relevant business-related research skills from exposure to extensive theoretical research methodology and policy evaluation in accounting and other related fields; be adept in independent research essential for future success in higher education and the market place.

Synopsis The topic for a research report is to be chosen by the student after consultation with academic staff in the accounting area. Students will be supervised by an appropriate staff member. The research report is not to exceed 10,000 words inclusive of footnotes, bibliography and appendices.
