Advanced corporate financial theory

First, second semester, full-year + Clayton + Prerequisite: AAF4140 or equivalent

Objectives On completion of this subject students should be able to understand the methods and problems of research on topics in finance. Students should be able to apply this knowledge to the preparation of papers that demonstrate an understanding of the methodology, statistical techniques and results of research on topics in finance.

Synopsis This subject will involve study of a specific area of corporate finance which will culminate in the preparation of research papers on topics in the area.
