Accounting and finance graduate seminar

First, second semester, full-year + Clayton

Objectives On completion of this subject students should be able to present and defend a research paper, based upon their thesis, to their colleagues and staff members in the Department of Accounting and Finance. The candidate should be able to present their paper in a learned and coherent manner. The student should also be able to answer questions relating to their paper in a way that reflects a thorough understanding of the research and work undertaken in the writing of the paper.

Synopsis Students write, present and defend a research paper based upon work undertaken towards their thesis. Assessment includes attendance, participation and presentation. It is a non-weighted subject and is taken in addition to the prescribed coursework.
