Japanese sociolinguistics

Completion of, or concurrent enrolment, in level B Japanese language
Synopsis The study of basic aspects of the Japanese language and system
of communication, as well as intercultural communication. Topics include
communication problems, variation, networks, politeness, discourse structure,
non-verbal communication and others.
Assessment Project (3000 words): 40% + Review (1000 words): 15% +
Examinations (2 hours): 45%
