Synopsis This subject aims to consolidate and further develop students' knowledge of Japanese in order to achieve pre-intermediate competence in spoken and written Japanese. This subject is the first part of a sequence and is designed to be followed by JPL2220. Both JPL2210 and JPL2220 must be taken in order to proceed to the third-year sequence.
Assessment Mid-semester test (1 hour): 20% + Final examination (2 hours): 35% + Speaking test: 10% + Listening comprehension text: 10% + Immersion program: 10% + Quizzes, homework and other activities: 15%
