Synopsis The structure of this subject is basically the same as JPL1320, however some topics and classroom activities in this subject are especially focused on basic business situations in Japan. It is the second-semester continuation of JPL1330. JPL1340 must be completed successfully in order to proceed to the second year sequence. Students are advised to enrol concurrently for JPS1090 (Understanding contemporary Japan).
Assessment Mid-semester test (1 hour): 15% + Final examination (2 hours): 35% + Listening comprehension test: 15% + Speaking test: 10% + Quizzes and assignments: 25%
