Synopsis The structure of this subject is basically the same as JPL1310, however some topics and classroom activities in this subject are especially focused on basic business situations. It is the first part of a two-semester sequence and is designed to be followed by JPL1340. JPL1330 must be completed successfully in order to proceed to JPL1340. Students are advised to enrol concurrently for JPS1070 (Sources of contemporary Japanese culture and society).
Assessment Mid-semester test (1 hour): 15% + Final examination (hours): 30% + Listening comprehension test: 15% + Speaking test: 10% + Quizzes and assignments: 30%
