Japanese 1C: part 2

6 points + 5 hours per week + Second semester + Clayton + Prerequisites: JPL1310 or equivalent qualification

Synopsis This subject aims to further develop students' advanced intermediate communicative competence in Japanese, dealing with socio-cultural topics and situations in Japan. It is the second-semester continuation of JPL1310. JPL1320 must be completed successfully in order to proceed to the second-year sequence. Students are advised to enrol concurrently for JPS1090 (Understanding contemporary Japan).

Assessment Mid-semester test (1 hour): 15% + Final examination (2 hours): 35% + Listening comprehension test: 15% + Speaking test: 10% + Quizzes and assignments: 25%
