Synopsis The dissertation should be between 12,000 and 15,000 words. Prospective students should see the history honours coordinator, Dr Ian Copland, in their third year, between October and re-enrolment, to have their thesis topic approved and to be referred to their supervisor for commencement of their research during the long vacation. The date by which the dissertation is to be presented will be announced at the beginning of the academic year.
