Welfare organisational practice II

Prerequisite: All first-level subjects for Associate Diploma of Arts (Social
Welfare), all first and second-level subjects for Bachelor of Social
Welfare
Synopsis This subject recognises the organisational context of all
welfare practice and will therefore attempt to explore the ways this context
can affect practice interventions, as well as introduce students to practice
strategies for organisational change. The subject aims to prepare students for
the increasing number and range of management functions embodied in many
welfare positions today, with an emphasis on project planning and current
trends in resourcing.
Assessment A workbook assignment (2500 words): 40% + Assignment in
program planning and development (3500 words): 60%
