Synopsis This course serves as a corollary to the language and culture core subjects offered by the department at first and second-year levels. It provides students with basic proficiency in the linguistic register of German as it is used in business and trade, with special emphasis on the consolidation and development of speaking and reading skills as well as the conventions of the German business world and business correspondence. It complements material introduced in the core units and provides also an introduction to GRN3770/GRN4780

Assessment Written (2000 words): 40% + Class paper: 30% + Examination (1 hour): 30%
