Alexandria - Jerusalem - Rome: connections and conflict

Synopsis This subject centres on the interaction of Judaism with
Hellenism and Roman culture around the turn of the era. It focuses on the
connections of the three centres from the conquest of Alexander, through the
rise of Christianity, to the rule of the Emperor Trajan.
Assessment Written (4000 words): 60% + Examination (2 hours): 40%
