Synopsis A dissertation of about 8000-10,000 words (16 points) or 12000-15,000 words (24 points) in English, using a substantial number of Asian language and secondary sources, to be submitted by 1 November. Students should provide the department with a summary of the proposed topic at the end of their third year.
