Child abuse, child protection and the state

Synopsis This subject considers a range of issues relating to social
work practice in response to child abuse. In particular, the subject seeks to
examine the relationship between the child, the family, the community and the
state.
Assessment Assignment (7000 words): 80% + based on 1-hour class
presentation of seminar paper and discussion of 1 hour (2000 words): 20%
