Synopsis This subject is designed to provide an overview of the role of
and the relationships between author, editor and designer in publishing.
Students will be taken through the processes involved in the transmission of a
text from manuscript to edited form.
Assessment Practical exercises: 20% + Field exercise (1500 words): 20% +
Review paper (3000 words): 40% + Examination (1 hour): 20%
