Synopsis This subject aims to develop students' communicative competence in intermediate spoken and written Japanese. It is the first of a two-semester sequence and is designed to be followed by JLG5360. Subject participation involves the completion of work based around a study guide, and video and cassette tapes; submission of written and taped assignments; and attendance at three Saturday workshops during the semester.
