Synopsis Literary prose and poetry are read and analysed in the first of
two weekly lectures. The second lecture is devoted to a discussion of the Malay
language and its development as Indonesian.
Assessment Written (750 words): 25% + Examination (2 hours): 50% + Two
tests: 25%
