Synopsis This subject aims to increase understanding of Asian countries and improve teaching about Asia in Australia. It explores the rationale of such teaching, opportunities to introduce Asian studies within specific curriculum areas and how insights gained by participants can lead to preparation of significant curriculum material for primary, secondary and adult education.
