Synopsis This subject enables students to take one of the following French MA courses (subject to availability): FRM5020 (The history of reading); FRM5030 (Nineteenth-century French social history); FRM5040 (Stendhal as novelist); FRM5050 (Zola); FRM5080 (Writing practices/reading theories: Ponge's prose and literary theory); FRM5090 (The use of the computer in language learning).
