Synopsis Students will undertake a study of regional financial markets including forecasting regional exchange rate movements and financing decisions under different exchange rate regimes; regional banking structures and operations; tax considerations in regional banking; regional money market institutions and their activities; profitability and security; regional capital budgeting decisions; regional exchange havens; balance of payment theory and countertrade practices.
