36 points + 9 studio hours per week + Full-year subject + Caulfield + Prerequisites: FNE2800

Objectives On successful completion of this subject students will have acquired the ability to make aesthetic decisions at a high level and to pursue an individual, personal program of study; practised drawing skills; a thorough understanding of contemporary tapestry and issues relating to its development; the ability to articulate critically their own work and that of others; developed sound working habits and studio practices.

Synopsis Studio practice will encourage an understanding of individual development, mature use of appropriate subject matter, self-expression, self-motivation, self-appraisal and the exploration of possibilities through drawing and other media.
