Tapestry

10 points + 4 studio hours per week + Full-year subject + Caulfield

Objectives On successful completion of this subject students will have acquired elementary weaving skills and basic knowledge about materials, equipment and techniques reated to tapestry; an understanding of how the visual language of tapestry might relate to their major study.

Synopsis Set projects will introduce basic skills and techniques relating to tapestry through a variety of projects, and an understanding of the value of drawing as preparation for tapestry, plus knowledge of the range of different materials that can be used in tapestry.
