Objectives On successful completion of this subject students are expected to have demonstrated an appreciation of the value of drawing for drawing's sake and as a complement to other areas of studio activity; confidence in expressing aspects of the visual world of strong individual concern; the ability to make informed aesthetic judgements about the character and quality of their imagery; and independence in both work practice and problem solving.
Synopsis This subject is designed to develop students, drawing ability to a professional level. Drawing skills relate to visual problem-solving techniques and those relevant to the creative artist/craftsperson.
