Objectives On successful completion of this subject students are expected to have demonstrated an individual direction reflecting previously demonstrated abilities, strengths and interests; an ability to structure a personal work pattern, set targets, and follow goals; an ability to apply a personal set of criteria to the development of concepts and analysis of ideas; technical skill and aesthetic understanding in the design and manufacture of glass forms; and communication skills through well-researched class papers and competent oral critiques.
Synopsis This subject extends the knowledge, skills and experience gained in the previous semester. Students are expected to develop an individual direction reflecting their previously demonstrated abilities and interests and develop confidence and independence within a personal aesthetic framework.
