The study of print making includes the development of technical skills, and an understanding of the role of print making as an historically rich art form and a vehicle of contemporary art practice. As students progress through the sequence of print making units, they advance their technical ability and learn different techniques of printmaking and production. They will develop their works in the context of contemporary visual art.
