Description
The study of painting includes the development of technical skills, and an understanding of the role of painting as an historically rich art form and a vehicle of contemporary art practice. As students progress through the sequence of painting units, they advance their painting processes and learn to use supports, grounds, pigments, colour, and mediums. They will develop their works in the context of contemporary visual art.
