Description

The study of drawing is essential to creative practice. Drawing facilitates experimentation and invention, allowing artists, designers and architects to explore ideas and concepts. Students explore the role of drawing as a creative practice and also as a tool for visual research and idea development. By undertaking progressive sequences of drawing units, students can advance their skills. They can choose from drawing units that cover a range of materials, methods and contexts. From representational to experimental, students may undertake units focusing on drawing in the field or in the studio, drawing the figure or developing specialised drawing skills to assist with grant applications, proposals and visual research.
