This unit will provide participants with the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills related to working within a range of simulation environments. It will introduce participants to the practical strategies related to planning, designing and delivering simulation-based learning. Specific detail of the unit will include clinical skills and simulation scenario development, planning and designing simulation activities, equipment familiarity and implementation methods and logistics.
On completion of this unit, course participants will be able to:
Teaching practical and plan (30%)
A clinical simulation scenario plan (3000 words) (40%)
Annotated bibliography (1500 words) (30%)
