The Mental Health unit covers the aetiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of the following common mental health problems:
Students will develop specialist mental health knowledge, and the ability to apply that knowledge in patients with these conditions. The focus will be medication-related issues and the pharmacist's role.
Online tasks (participation in online discussions): 50%
Written assignments (case study(s) and essay(s)): 50%
Students are expected to allow 10-12 hours per week over the semester in study time.
