The Honours program in Theatre and Performance gives students the opportunity to pursue higher-level investigations of theatre and performance. Alongside an exciting and challenging program of coursework units, students undertake group and/or individual research projects in areas including dramatic theory, performance practices, theatre histories and performance writing. Throughout the program, students advance their knowledge of performance theory and culture whilst extending their skills in research, analysis and communication.
Students complete 48 points at fourth-year level including: a dissertation, thesis or creative project; a compulsory research and methodologies coursework unit; and one elective coursework unit.
