DescriptionHonours is a prestigious program comprising a fourth year of coursework and research after the completion of a Bachelor of Music. Students choose a topic and undertake research working with a carefully selected supervisor who provides individual guidance and academic counselling. ObjectivesUpon successful completion of the honours program, students will have extended their undergraduate knowledge in a specific area of music through in-depth research and built upon their skills in the areas of research, analysis, writing and other forms of communication. Students qualified to enter an honours program must normally do so within five years of the date on which they completed their undergraduate studies. StructureThis course consists of 48 points of study from a relevant area of music studies, including a thesis.
