Description

In addition to learning practical skills, students will be exposed to the historical, creative, technical and cultural aspects of music.

Objectives

The course provides students with a comprehensive and balanced education appropriate for careers in all aspects of the music industry.

Structure

This course consists of 132 points of compulsury music units with an additional 12 points chosen from a variety of disciplines at first year level.

Requirements

Students complete:

(a.) a performance major (54 points)

(b.) a second music major (54 points)

(c.) a performance minor (24 points)

(d.) another first-year-level sequence (12 points)
