DescriptionThe Bachelor of Arts is a general, flexible degree which allows students to match academic interests with career aspirations to create a personalised course progression. Studying humanities will develop general knowledge and specific intellectual skills relating to human thought and relations, such as the way we communicate or how the past has affected the present. Social science analyses and explains societies and the relationships of individuals within those societies. The Bachelor of Business (Banking and Finance) component of this double degree is designed for those seeking a career in the banking and finance industry, especially in commercial and investment banking, corporate finance, stock markets, capital markets and derivative markets. StructureThis course consists of 96 points in the arts component and 96 points in the business (banking and finance) component. RequirementsArts componentStudents complete: (a.) an arts discipline major (48 points) (b.) an arts discipline minor (24 points) (c.) an additional arts discipline first-year sequence (12 points) (d.) a further 12 points in arts units Banking and finance componentStudents complete: (i.) six compulsory common core units (36 points):
(ii.) a major of 10 units (60 points) in banking and finance
